Wat Pho traditional Thai massage (60 min, R350 or 90min, R460)
This massage had the ability to heal relax and realign the body. It works more deeply than other massage techniques. It is the lack of oil, special outfit and the obscure postures that distinguished this massage from the rest.

Thai Hot herbal compress (60 min, R350 or 90min, R460)
A light to medium massage. The herbal compress is a combination of special herbs that improves blood circulation and alleviates muscle tension.

Foot Treatments

Foot massage (30 min, R220 or 60min, R320)
This reflexology treatment concentrates on the delicate areas of the feet, back, neck and shoulders. The therapist uses natural techniques of pressure points derived from traditional Thai medicine to stimulate and balance the body.

Thai herbal Foot treatment (60 min, R350)
The application of special hot herbal compress improves circulation and relieves muscle stress, eliminates water retention and swelling. Eliminates water retention and swelling, ends with a moisturizing soothing foot spa.

Kai Thai presents the “Fish therapy Spas” which are the first fully equipped fish spas in South Africa.

The Garra species or ‘doctor fish’ is the name given to the two species of Garra Rufa and Cyprinion fish, which are essentially little dermatologists in a non-medical sense.

This harmless species of fish originate in Turkey, living and breeding in outdoor pools of Turkish spas, where they have been used for hundreds of years to feed on the dead and affected skin of patients presenting with medical conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other dermatological complaints.

After treatment, the healthy tissue is left to grow normally. These incredible fish are also helpful for removing of skin smear and aging cortex, improving blood circulation and maintaining healthy skin.

Generally spas of this nature are not meant as a curative treatment option but only to alleviate symptoms, with many patients revisiting the spas on a regular basis.

Having said this, in some cases, patients have experienced a complete cure of Psoriasis! Of course, due to the unpredictable nature of this disease, this is not a guarantee.
